“The story of your life is the story of the long and brutal assault on your heart by the one who knows what you could be and fears it. I hope you are starting to see that more clearly now. Otherwise, much of your life will not make sense to you.”
The lonely days have a purpose, we are being recreated, shaped and molded into the person that we are destined to be, not the person that you were settling to be. Thank you Jeshua for being the God of both truth and love. You never compromise righteousness, yet you pour out mercy without measure. You are patient with us, kind in correction, and faithful in every word You speak. We want to reflect that same heart in our own words. In the Book of Ephesians it says “that we might know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge and that we might know by experience what is beyond comprehension.” Our heart can take us where our head can’t go. When we go heart first we learn through our experience. There is a lot of warning about learning through our experience because there have been people that have been so deceived and really pulled away from the authority and strength of scripture. I understand the fear but it is unreasonable. We don’t want to build theology on experience if we can’t find it in scripture. The real problem here is that those that are without experience are already deceived. The gospel is not philosophy, it’s a relational journey with a person. Opening oneself to divine love is a profound experience that invites us to enter into the fullness of Christ’s love in our lives. It begins with a willingness to shed our fears and insecurities, recognizing that divine love transcends our understanding. By allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, we create a space for God’s love to permeate our hearts and minds, transforming our perception of ourselves and the world around us.
As we open up to this divine presence, we start to encounter moments of grace in our everyday lives. It might be through a simple act of kindness from a stranger or a sense of peace during a challenging time. These experiences are reminders of the love that surrounds us, urging us to embrace it fully. The more we attune ourselves to these instances, the more we realise that divine love is not just a distant concept but a tangible force that shapes our reality. Embracing the wisdom of the heart requires a willingness to let go of preconceived notions and to trust in the divine plan that unfolds in our lives. This trust does not come easy, as it often demands a surrender of our fears and doubts. However, when we align ourselves with the love of Christ, we begin to see that the heart’s wisdom is rooted in faith, hope, and unconditional love.. These qualities empower us to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience, encouraging a deeper connection to both ourselves and others.
All theology is an invitation to encounter. Our relationship with God is living and breathing. We cannot find God unless he reveals himself through our humility. There is no procedure for finding God, it doesen’t work that way. We find God because he mercifully reveals himself to us through our childlike open hearts. When you have been captured by him, there is no choice but to do what he leads you to do. As long as we live under the deceit of a belief system that keeps us thinking we are less then what we are, we will never become everything that we can be. The process of awakening isn’t lined with comfort, it breaks hearts and stretches relationships to their limits. Not because we stopped loving but the hardest truth is this: love alone is not always enough. If loving me requires that I dim my light, silence my truth or pause my evolution, then that love is not one that I can carry forward. I am not here to remain unchanged so that others don’t feel disrupted. We were never born broken, we were not designed as projects to repair. We were born whole and powerful and it is time we remember that, time we reclaim our strength and see ourselves not as victims in need of fixing but as creators of a new reality. The moment we awaken to who we truly are in our divinity, the worlds power over us will end. At our core, in our divinity we are beings capable of transcending the mundane to touch the infinite through acts of love, creativity, awareness or seeking truth. It’s about embodying qualities that connect us to something larger then ourselves, the ongoing renewal of the mind to align with the character and will of Jesus Christ. This centers on having “the mind of Christ” and being empowered to live in fellowship with God as revealed in His Son. I believe this to be a missing element in the lives of many believers today. Understanding the baptism of fire impacts our spiritual journey significantly. This experience often involves facing trials that lead to personal growth and deeper faith. The Baptism of fire refers to a unique and transformative experience in the spiritual journey. This concept evokes thoughts of purification, empowerment, and divine presence.
Did Jesus always show unconditional love when He was in continuous dispute with the Pharisees? His chastisement of these people was so severe that to be called a Pharisee today is the same as being a particularly zealous, self-righteous and narrow-minded individual. ‘They don’t practise what they preach. They bind heavy and unattainable burdens together and lay them on man’s shoulders, but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them. All their deeds are done in order to display themselves before people. Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You watch over the Kingdom of Heaven but don’t enter it yourselves, and those who wish to attain enlightenment you keep in ignorance.’ Unconditional love does what is necessary in every situation, so that the outcome is the best possible for the greater good. When we learn to rest in the universe’s divine current, when we are at one with The Law of Light, we will be aware of the people we encounter, and especially those who are not acquainted with this law, and perhaps don’t wish to know of it.
