In this time which many describe as a dawning or shifting age, a large number of people draw a clear line: they have little or no problem with Jesus Christ Himself — His life, His teachings, His example of love, dependence on the Father, and freedom — but they feel deep resistance toward institutional religion. They associate religion with control, pressure to conform, uniformity, judgment, political entanglement, or spiritual emptiness.

It’s about a cosmic change from one Age to another, an upgrade that takes us to a new place in God’s plan, and we can never go back to the Old Covenant, Old Age thinking, and feel deep resistance toward institutional religion. They associate religion with control, pressure to conform, uniformity, judgment, political entanglement, or spiritual emptiness. The person of Jesus remains compelling; the religious systems built in His name often do not. This will be an Age of increased “spirituality” and a decrease in “religion”. I think there will be major shifts for the church and its style, and structure. It is a time when the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in fullness will be experienced all over the world, as God’s Spirit continues to be poured out on all flesh , when all people will know the Lord , and God’s glory shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Good days are ahead! When we embrace and love ourselves and allow that love to be our standard, we will transcend the social consciousness of man into the all-consciousness of God, for what we are goes beyond beauty. It goes beyond perfection. It goes beyond the containment of laws and dogma and social standards. It goes into destiny, into the fulfillment of self, which is the fulfillment of God. Know that there is no end to anything and there is no absoluteness to anything. Everything is in the moment and there is always more to come. Never allow yourself to be enslaved or intimidated. There is always a way, and a better way. Know that, and allow the thoughts to come to you that will light your path to joy. Do away with the fear that inhibits you from knowing something greater than what you are experiencing on this plane. To go beyond the limited thinking of man is to contemplate that perhaps there is something as yet unseen that is more vast in its understanding. Be open to truth, regardless of its source, and let your feelings be your guide. The wise man, even though he may be blind, knows within his soul what feels right. Truth is even in the blade of grass that you tread upon. It is in the laughter of a child. It is in the eyes of a beggar. It is in all places and all things, in all peoples and all moments. He who doesn’t know this does not know God, for God is everything that is. Learn to be wise. He who knows that the kingdom of heaven lies within him is a wise person.

The Kingdom of God was originally intended for His own, the Israelite people. But they rejected their own King. Its only because Israel rejected their Messiah Jesus and His Kingdom that those of the Gentile origin are able to enter into the eternal Kingdom of God. God came with a Kingdom, but the ones to whom the Kingdom was intended rejected it, so God gave the Kingdom to those who wanted it – the Gentiles, and the Gentiles were given the power to become the sons of God. Israelites are God’s chosen people and we are to love Israel as God loves Israel. God gave the Israelites the opportunity to be the sons of God, but they willingly rejected the opportunity. Now, when a gentile is born into the Kingdom they become a son of God, a privilege that has been predestined from before the beginning of time. Now Israel has to wait until the fullness of the gentiles before their blindness is taken away allowing them to see who their Messiah is, allowing them to call on the name of Jesus to save them eternally. The Word tells us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. In the physical, as physical time passes by and our bodies get older and older. God stays the same, God can look at the history and future of all mankind just like we can look at a picture on a wall. Inside the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus reigns as King and we have access to the father through Jesus Christ. As a child of God in the Kingdom of God, there is only one time frame that matters – the eternal Now. Your body is in the physical but what is important is that the real you is in the Kingdom. There is no time in eternity. The only time in the Kingdom is now. Jesus teaches us, “therefore I say unto you, whatsoever things you desire, what you pray for, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.” He also tells us that if you ask as a follower of Christ, you have special spiritual privileges and through these spiritual privileges God will bring everything that you need into your life. Jesus Himself is the perfect example: He had the fullest “Christ Consciousness” possible, yet, He lived in total dependence, saying “Not My will, but the Fathers be done”.

This life we live in now is simply a platform upon which our lives can be played out and our illusions experienced for the greatest prize of life called wisdom. It has been an experience of life that has helped to make us who we are now. That is a wonderful thing, for we are in this “Now” the greatest we have ever been since we began this remarkable journey, because our wisdom is greater than it has ever been. Whatever we have done, we have done simply for the purpose of creating learning for ourselves. And through that learning we have hurt, we have pained, we have sorrowed, we have degraded ourselves, and yet we have arisen from it because here we are now ready to know and embrace the beauty that we are. Should anyone be judged for that? No, because that is called innocence and it is also called education. Failure is a reality only for those who believe it is. But no one truly fails at life — ever. In spite of each thing we have done. To fail would mean to stop. Yet nothing can ever stop, for life is ongoing; it advances every moment. So you can never stand still or go backward in life, for each moment of life’s ongoing expansion always brings on greater and greater understanding. The enemy uses fear to keep the world under his power just as Jesus uses faith to set men free. Faith will lead us to His domain, which is His kingdom. There we find the liberty that releases us to be who we were created to be. This battle between faith and fear that rages in every soul will determine whether we live a successful life or not. The course of our lives will be dictated either by faith or fear. We all have to choose which it will be.

Our soul’s have driven us from experience to experience, adventure to adventure, so it can fulfill itself in the complete understanding of every form of thought, every attitude, every emotion so that we may know and understand the totality of thought, which is the totality of God, which is the totality of self. Our soul hungers for what it has never experienced. When our soul hungers for an experience, it means that it needs emotional data from that experience. So our soul’s will create a feeling called “desire” which captivates our entire being and propels us into an adventure, an experience. Now do we think we ever set about to experience something, knowing that it was wrong for us or that we would fail? No. We have always embarked upon every adventure with great curiosity, interest, and delight. Even though at the outset the outcome was unknown, we undertook it simply because we hadn’t done it before. The experience was new and exciting and we wanted to learn from it. And though pain may have been experienced in the adventure, it helped us to understand the emotion called pain, which added to our understandings of life. So that experience was purposeful in our life. Everything we do, the very moment we are doing it, we know within our soul’s that the experience is right for us. It is only after we have experienced the adventure and the feelings derived from it and have settled into wisdom, that we think that perhaps we could have done it better or differently. But we never would have known there was a betterment until first we had embarked on the experience and gained wisdom from it.

Many are hungry for the real freedom and expanded awareness that comes from the mind of Christ — not as an abstract spiritual state, but as a living, relational reality that produces love, integrity, loyalty, and genuine care for others. In the Higher Place, we no longer fear the fire. We welcome it as the Father’s refining love. We allow the Holy Spirit to renew our thinking and form the character of Christ within us. The gifts we carry become more effective because the vessel has been purified. The fruit becomes evident — love that is patient and kind, integrity that can be trusted, this is the evidence Jesus spoke of — “By their fruits you will know them”. The baptism of fire is not only about manifestations or gifts operating in power. It is about character formed in the trials, so that the gifts flow through a purified vessel, loyalty that does not abandon and genuine care that truly sees people. This is the invitation in our day. Not just to receive power, but to be refined by fire so that the mind of Christ can be clearly seen in His people. The world does not need more impressive gifts without fruit. It needs believers who have walked through the fire and emerged carrying the heart of Jesus — humble, faithful, and filled with love.

In the light of the Higher Place, both of these realities can sit together: God works specifically and historically, and God is bigger than any one people or system. Jesus Himself stands at the centre of that bigger picture for many — accessible, relational, and free of the religious pressure that so often obscures Him.
