Imagination

All that started as an idea first held in the minds of imagination. Imagination is the highest freedom of all and the one that no one can deprive us of… For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” Albert Einstein

Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion doing beautiful works as expressions of love.

“What is it that when you do it, causes you to lose track of time and get lost in it? What is it that causes you to think, “I was made for this”. What do you love to do now that will go on in the age to come”…  this is what I call partnering and communicating with God, understanding “Heaven on Earth” as a place of increasingly expansive expressions and dimensions of creativity, beauty, and design. So, if you love doing what you are doing, keep doing it and let nothing stand in your way. Believe, and it will be so for you, what you believe about the future determines how you live today.

I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling.

There are many ways in which we discover our destiny; the important thing is to recognize that pull, that calling of God, and respond to it wholeheartedly. What makes you come alive? There will be certain things that make you come alive. This happens when something or some event causes a reaction within you, making you come alive. Watch for that – it is your spirit rising to a destiny given to you so long ago. What part are you to play in it? Not all are evangelists, not all have healing ministries, but all have some part to play. Ask, seek, knock, search for that which God has given to you to do – the reason for you being here in this generation. Your secular training as well as your spiritual training are all part of the preparation for the greatest hour in all history.

The concept of  “Millennium Reign Imaging” was birthed in me a few years ago not knowing at that stage how this would develop as a platform to show my work and make it more meaningful to people viewing my images, and, to relate to them on another  level. Carefully and with purpose I am in the process of developing this site and also several books, quotations spoken by others besides my own writings, also I thought, would be a way to combine my work with words that inspire and bring light and life into our lives.  Continue with “Meditate on these things”… after viewing Imagination.

Host Of Angels

20100926_17012342_pe

Will your pet, dog, cat, bird be in Heaven?  I don’t really know the answer to that question, but I did see Heaven filled with animals! The bible speaks about Jesus riding on a white horse, but it would be foolish to think that God only has horses in Heaven wouldn’t you agree?  While I was in Heaven I saw dogs, baby goats, lions, and birds!  Oh and the birds would sing songs in harmony with each other, and the craziest part is that I understood what they were singing! I even understood what they were talking about with each other after they Sang.  I saw other animals from a distance but I could not identify them but I can say this, they did not seem to run away or attack humans. The nature and wildlife in Heaven is not out to get you but they are in tune with every living being in Heaven. ALL of Heavens nature was in harmony, from even the grass that would sway back and forth dancing and praising, you would think there was a great wind moving around but the plants were alive!  Anytime you would step on grass to walk through, it would pop back up into perfect alignment and eliminating any footprints. And fruit never rotted or decayed but always remained fresh as death nor decay can be found in Heaven! Oh what a wonderful place and we are just getting Started.”  –    Roberts Liardon

Returning To The Desires Of Our Heart

IMG_125631_pe_pe_pe.jpg

Keep trusting and believing in God and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on his promises and you will be secure, feasting on his faithfulness. Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

There is a song called “Communion” by Steffany Gretzinger, what I posted here reminds me of that song  “You are closer, closer than my skin, you are in the air I’m breathing in. Here’s is where the dead things come back to living, I feel my heart beating again…feels so good to know You are my friend.”

The privilege to just be able to “be” and to share something we are passionate about with someone else, who also lives their passion, is a God given moment in time.

 The Invitation

20100926_156_pe_1

“When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly.” – Patrick overton

When we are willing to do what ever it takes, to see what we long to see, that is what moves the heart and hand of God. Our initiation is His invitation. We will experience Him in a way others do not, why? because we are willing to do what others will not.

Wide-Eyed Wonder

20120311_583_pe_1-2

20120311_3313_pe_pe_1

Children see the truth because of purity of heart, nothing has defiled their perception yet. Their imagination is delightful, imagining all people living life in peace. You may say they are dreamers but they are not the only ones. They are hoping that someday you will join them, into Heaven’s Kingdom realm…

The disciples came to ask Jesus, “Who is considered to be the greatest in heaven’s kingdom realm?”  Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable, and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, you will never be able to enter in. Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this gentle child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm. And if you tenderly care for this little one on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me.

Wise One

IMG_00012_pe.jpg

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.  The wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable.  It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness!

Destiny

mg_0051_pe-1

Finding your destiny will always disappoint people that will assign you to theirs, revelation will always bring you to separation. When God exposes you to your destiny…run!

The Armor of God

In Ephesians it says that our hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things  and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.  Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.  In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the enemy.

Risen

Arum Lilly's 0195_pe_pe.jpg

I am the Resurrection, and I am Life Eternal. Anyone who clings to me in faith, even though he dies, will live forever. And the one that lives by believing in me will never die. In times of brokenness our hearts are vulnerable and open, and so pliable in His hands to be molded according to His nature. When we call upon His name it is the resurrection power of Christ that floods through us to make us whole again and to give us a chance to start again.  It’s that very beautiful vulnerable place that we must treasure and hold on too.  Intimacy is born out of that….

A Tiny Mustard Seed

20130406_5163_pe_pe - Copy

I love trees, on one of my walks on a misty morning, I meditated on that passage in the Word where Jesus taught that the tiny mustard seed can be compared to “Heaven’s Kingdom realm. A man takes it and plants it in his field. A field, symbolizing his life. Although it being the smallest of all seeds, it eventually grows into the greatest of garden plants, becoming a tree for birds to come and build their nests in its branches. The seed will have begun small, but with the process of growth God’s Kingdom will ultimately encompass the entire earth…

Perfect Faith

45647076_10214292158232027_6922349887912673280_n.jpg

“The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.” ― J.M. Barrie

The Word of God says that without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God.  For we come to God in faith  knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.

Darkest Before Dawn

IMG_0001_2.jpg

Even though I am a person of faith, sometimes my heart finds faith hard. Sometimes I think God waits too long to intervene, too long to move hearts and souls, too long to change circumstances. I want Him to come on the first watch, not the fourth.

The Greatest Commission

IMG_0001_13.jpg

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

Awakening the Dawn

IMG_0001_5

Scriptures promise that if we seek Him, we will find Him. Fasting and bit of slumber, allows God’s transforming power to work an “awakening” within those who answer the call.  As we respond, the task becomes easier, the insights brighter, the revelation stronger, the Word more empowering.  The world is in great need of “spiritual muscle” to grow, exercise and stand the watches.  In the night hours, as we respond to the call, the light and power of His Presence penetrates us, and we emerge stronger, more focused than before.

The Journey

IMG_0001_2.jpg

There is a company of people that see something more then just dying and making it to Heaven, we begin as high as we can get, but not as deep. Depth is a journey…if in this journey we seek the Lord for His sake alone, if we long to know Him as He knows us, then He will draw near to us in startling reality.

The Time of Love

IMG_0001_12.jpg

“As I past by again, I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I covered your naked body with my coat and promised to love you.  Yes I made a marriage covenant with you, and you became mine”.  This is what the sovereign Lord says.  Ezek. 16, describing this stage as courtship. For the believer this is a time of intense joy and severe testing.  An acute longing begins to grow within such believers. They realize that nothing will satisfy this hunger except a deeper union with Christ Himself.

Endurance

img_0001_1

I Noticed this beautiful succulent cactus plant one morning on my hike in the Karoo desert, so beautiful yet full of little thorns. The cactus plant symbolises endurance, it endures the intense heat of the desert and survives, blossoming and flowering it keeps on growing. Not unlike people who survive the heat of life’s furnace and die a little too themselves. I think maybe we die every day. Maybe we’re born new each dawn, a little changed, a little further on our own road. When enough days stand between you and the person you were, you’re strangers. Maybe that’s what growing up is. Maybe I have grown up.”

Surrender

The Perfect Storm

20121013_86_pe - Copy

“The beauty of being shattered is how the shards become our character and our marks of distinction. This is how we are refined by our pain. When the storm rips you to pieces, you get to decide how to put yourself back together again. The storm gives us the gift of our defining choices. You will be a different person after the storm, because the storm will heal you from your perfection. People who stay perfect and unblemished never really get to live fully or deeply. You will not be the same after the storms of life; you will be stronger, wiser and more alive than ever before!”  ― Bryant McGill

The Passion

img_0001_2

Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: pati. It does not mean to flow with exuberance. It means to suffer.” ― Mark Z. Danielewski

Worship

20120509_2235_pe - Copy - Copy.jpg

My passion for creating beautiful images has surpassed my need to be a good photographer, that is not my focus any longer, my focus now is how can I make this more expressive and how can I create more of a dimension in order for that image to speak or have an impact on someone in a positive and transforming/healing way. That fleeting moment in time of just the right lighting is always something I look for when I am out there photographing, but not always available when I would like it to be. I like my images to be bold and detailed, so with my love for creating something meaningful, it then becomes an act of worship.

Expansion

IMG_0001_11.jpg

“When you allow yourself to remember that you truly are a multidimensional being, you will begin experiencing yourself in a much more expanded way. What previously was believed to be supernatural becomes natural. Then you come to a realisation that now you can see what has always been there yet it remained hidden to you who chose to see something else.” ― Raphael Zernoff

Peace

IMG_0001_36

Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. Every breath we take, every step we take, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.” – Colossians 3:15 “Let the peace from Christ rule and act as umpire continually in your hearts …

Trust

IMG_0001 (4)

Trust is never out there. The soul essence that we call trust resides within you. Trust is a decision. It is a reflection of what you have decided to believe.Trust is not about being comfortable. It is about being willing to move beyond your comfort zone when there is absolutely no evidence that you will be supported.Trust is not about looking for evidence that you are doing things right every step of the way as you move toward the end result. Trust is about keeping the end result in mind no matter what steps you have to take to get there, or how bad you feel while you are stepping. Trust is not about the work you have to do in life being easy or having other people support you in getting through the work. It is about your ability to do the hard work without losing sight of why you are doing it, when other people try to convince you that you should be doing something else. Trust is not about getting something back for the work you do as a sign that you are doing the right thing. It is your ability to keep doing the work even when it looks like there is nothing coming back. Think of it this way. Trust is based on your ability to stand your ground, knowing that no matter what happens, you will be better off than you were in the beginning. Anything less than this is not trust.

Barrenness

img_0001_3

I don’t see the desert as barren at all; I see it as full and ripe. It doesn’t need to be flattered with rain. It certainly needs rain, but it does with what it has, and creates amazing beauty.   -Joy Harjo

Nautilus

20130716_1068_pe

I found this paper nautilus shell on one of my walks on the beach, took a photo of it and created this image. It reminded me of the stages of growth we experience on our spiritual journey. In order to begin a new stage in our lives, we have to think “outside the box.” Yet, every time we abandon an old worldview for a new and wider vision, we merely find ourselves in a larger box. And while each box serves its particular function for a time, we are always in danger of claiming that the chamber we currently occupy is the ultimate one. The spiral shape of this shell suggests that it can keep growing forever. There is no design for a “final” chamber. The creature must keep building new chambers as long as it lives. It cannot go back to the previous ones; they no longer fit. It cannot stay in its present chamber or it will die. It has no choice but to move on. And on. In Christ we are always changing and expanding, it is religion that holds us captive in those chambers.

Backdoor to Heaven

Back Door To Heaven

“Be sure that the ins and outs of your individuality are no mystery to Him; and one day they will no longer be a mystery to you…God will look to every soul like its first love because He is its first love. Your place in heaven will seem to be made for you and you alone, because you were made for it–made for it stitch by stitch as a glove is made for a hand.” ― C.S. Lewis

Glory Revealed

20120512_3013_pe_pe - Copy.jpg

This image was taken on a trip into Namibia, we drove through some fascinating landscapes, and one of them inspired me to create this scene…a moment of His presence and Glory. Today, look for the moments. The writing in the sky. The breeze upon your cheek. The flower pushing its way through concrete. Expect the unexpected. Let yourself be romanced by a sudden glory moment from God.

Door Into Eternity

Creativity isn’t about doing it right or wrong. Impose all the constraints you want on yourself; that can help your creativity. But beware the voices from outside with their formulas, prescriptions, and rules. No one but you knows what you’re trying to do, or the path you’ve chosen to get there. Be open to the possibility that there are better ways, that the things we did yesterday may not serve us today. Be willing to learn, and to fall down. But as failure is so often our best teacher, don’t let anyone dissuade you from “doing it wrong.” Because it’s only in risking the possibility of getting it “wrong” that we draw close to getting it awesome. I’ve come to believe that most people equate different with wrong. Don’t let FODIW (fear of doing it wrong. I just made that up.) stop you from doing it differently, it’s the only thing that’ll keep you moving forward and keep us all from the homogeny that threatens to suffocate our creativity and joy.  – David duChemin

“Problems help us to become brilliant. We are warriors, we’re not afraid of anything! I don’t want an easy life. I want a brilliant one! I want an amazing one! I want an astonishing one! I want to see and I want to taste the powers of the age to come. I want to see Heaven on Earth! I don’t want some piddling Christian experience. I want something even better!” – Graham Cooke

Living Water

IMG_0001_18

“Aliveness, is a gift available to all by God’s grace. It flows not from taking, but giving, not from fear but from faith, not from conflict but from reconciliation, not from domination but from service. It isn’t found in the upper trappings of religion -rules and rituals, controversies and scruples, temples and traditions. No, it springs up from our innermost being like a fountain of living water. It intoxicates us like the best wine ever and so turns life from disappointment into a banquet.” ― Brian D. McLaren

“We are not here to be earthbound in our spirituality. We’re not here to have the world dictate to us how we can see and how we can think. God is setting us free to think from a place above, to set our mind on things above, not on things on the Earth, to actually be raised up so that we can actually connect with Him in spiritual places.” – Graham Cooke

The fact of your birth, the same as every human on this planet, gives you permission to live, as much as possible, on your terms. To live out loud. To colour outside the lines. To know what you want to create, and how, and to do so with joy and purpose.  – David duChemin

Moonlight Reflections

“Each time a person passes by you and you say ‘hello’, imagine that person turning into a candle. The more positivity, love and light you reflect, the more light is mirrored your way. Sharing beautiful hellos is the quickest way to earn spiritual brownie points. You should start seeing hellos as small declarations of faith. Every time you say hello to a stranger, your heart acknowledges over and over again that we are all family.”

Imagination

“When you draw on God’s grace to put off your self-centered attitudes and act on His principles, you put His glory on display. Your life points to His vast wisdom, compassion, and transforming power, and as you look for God’s glory, the impact reaches far beyond yourself because you give everyone around you reason to respect and praise God. Wisdom In The Beginning

copy-2-of-20080822_1

In the beginning I was there, for God possessed me even before he created the universe. From eternity past I was set in place, before the world began. I was anointed from the beginning. Before the oceans depths were poured out, and before there were any glorious fountains overflowing with water, I was there, dancing! Even before one mountain had been sculpted or one hill raised up, I was already there, dancing! When he created the earth, the fields, even the first atom of dust, I was already there. When he hung the tapestry of the heavens and stretched out the horizon of the earth, When the clouds and skies were set in place and the subterranean fountains began to flow strong, I was already there. When he set in place the pillars of the earth and spoke the decrees of the seas, commanding the waves so that they wouldn’t overstep their boundaries, I was there, close to the Creator’s side as his master artist. Daily he was filled with delight in me as I playfully rejoiced before him. I laughed and played, so happy with what he had made, while finding my delight in the children of men.    –    Proverbs
