“What is it that when you do it, causes you to lose track of time and get lost in it? What do you do that makes you think “I could do this forever” What is it that causes you to think, “I was made for this”. What do you love to do now that will go on in the age to come”… I like this quotation by Rob Bell, this is what I call partnering and communicating with God, understanding “Heaven on Earth” as a place of increasingly expansive expressions and dimensions of creativity, beauty, and design. So, if you love doing what you are doing, keep doing it and let nothing stand in your way. Believe, and it will be so for you, what you believe about the future determines how you live today.

The concept of  “Millennium Reign Imaging” was birthed in me a few years ago not knowing at that stage how this would develop as a platform to show my work and make it more meaningful to people viewing my images, and, to relate to them on a deeper level. Carefully and with purpose I am in the process of developing this site, quotations spoken by others besides my own, also I thought, would be a way to combine my work with words that inspire and bring light and life into our lives.

The Journey

There is a company of people that see something more then just dying and making it to Heaven, we begin as high as we can get, but not as deep. Depth is a journey…if in this journey we seek the Lord for His sake alone, if we long to know Him as He knows us, then He will draw near to us in startling reality.

The Look of Love

I Noticed this beautiful succulent cactus plant one morning on my hike in the Karoo desert, so beautiful yet full of little thorns. The cactus plant symbolises endurance, it endures the intense heat of the desert and survives, blossoming and flowering it keeps on growing. Not unlike people who survive the heat of life’s furnace and die a little too themselves. I think maybe we die every day. Maybe we’re born new each dawn, a little changed, a little further on our own road. When enough days stand between you and the person you were, you’re strangers. Maybe that’s what growing up is. Maybe I have grown up.”

Purity and Faith

Two things will cause you to leap out of yourselves into the great promises of God. One is purity, the other is faith. God has no room for the man who looks back, thinks back, or acts back. – Smith Wigglesworth –

My very first photograph ever taken on the streets of Johannesburg, a borrowed nikon and lots of determination. The year was 1973, and little did I know what was to follow….

May what I do flow from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children – Rainer Maria Rilke

The Perfect Storm

“The beauty of being shattered is how the shards become our character and our marks of distinction. This is how we are refined by our pain. When the storm rips you to pieces, you get to decide how to put yourself back together again. The storm gives us the gift of our defining choices. You will be a different person after the storm, because the storm will heal you from your perfection. People who stay perfect and unblemished never really get to live fully or deeply. You will not be the same after the storms of life; you will be stronger, wiser and more alive than ever before!”  ― Bryant McGill

The Passion

Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: pati. It does not mean to flow with exuberance. It means to suffer.” ― Mark Z. Danielewski

Dreaming with God unlocks deep reservoirs of creativity in each and every person, in different areas of gifting and talent. But in too many sectors of the church, creativity is on lockdown because people fear their desires and dreams. Religion, cruel and boring, bottles up the creative impulse God has put inside of every person. Each of us has a right and responsibility to express ourselves creatively in whatever area of life interests us. Yet so many of us have the horrible habit of doing things the way they have always been done, for reasons of fear and safety. We’re descendants of the Creator and yet we stick with old tired methods. We ask God to do a new thing through us, but expect Him to do it in a familiar way…. -Bill Johnson

My passion for creating beautiful images has surpassed my need to be a good photographer, that is not my focus any longer, my focus now is how can I make this more expressive and how can I create more of a dimension in order for that image to speak or have an impact on someone in a positive and transforming/healing way. That fleeting moment in time of just the right lighting is always something I look for when I am out there photographing, but not always available when I would like it to be. I like my images to be bold and detailed, so with my love for creating something meaningful, it then becomes an act of worship.

“When you allow yourself to remember that you truly are a multidimensional being, you will begin experiencing yourself in a much more expanded way. What previously was believed to be supernatural becomes natural. Then you come to a realisation that now you can see what has always been there yet it remained hidden to you who chose to see something else.” ― Raphael Zernoff

Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. Every breath we take, every step we take, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.” – Colossians 3:15 “Let the peace from Christ rule and act as umpire continually in your hearts …

Trust is never out there. The soul essence that we call trust resides within you. Trust is a decision. It is a reflection of what you have decided to believe.Trust is not about being comfortable. It is about being willing to move beyond your comfort zone when there is absolutely no evidence that you will be supported.Trust is not about looking for evidence that you are doing things right every step of the way as you move toward the end result. Trust is about keeping the end result in mind no matter what steps you have to take to get there, or how bad you feel while you are stepping. Trust is not about the work you have to do in life being easy or having other people support you in getting through the work. It is about your ability to do the hard work without losing sight of why you are doing it, when other people try to convince you that you should be doing something else. Trust is not about getting something back for the work you do as a sign that you are doing the right thing. It is your ability to keep doing the work even when it looks like there is nothing coming back. Think of it this way. Trust is based on your ability to stand your ground, knowing that no matter what happens, you will be better off than you were in the beginning. Anything less than this is not trust.

I don’t see the desert as barren at all; I see it as full and ripe. It doesn’t need to be flattered with rain. It certainly needs rain, but it does with what it has, and creates amazing beauty.   -Joy Harjo

I found this paper nautilus shell on one of my walks on the beach, took a photo of it and created this image. It reminded me of the stages of growth we experience on our spiritual journey. In order to begin a new stage in our lives, we have to think “outside the box.” Yet, every time we abandon an old worldview for a new and wider vision, we merely find ourselves in a larger box. And while each box serves its particular function for a time, we are always in danger of claiming that the chamber we currently occupy is the ultimate one. The spiral shape of this shell suggests that it can keep growing forever. There is no design for a “final” chamber. The creature must keep building new chambers as long as it lives. It cannot go back to the previous ones; they no longer fit. It cannot stay in its present chamber or it will die. It has no choice but to move on. And on. In Christ we are always changing and expanding, it is religion that holds us captive in those chambers.

Fields of Dreams

We all walk onto the fields of creation on level ground. Rich or poor, white or black, male or female, allegedly brilliant or certifiably, um, challenged. You bring to that level ground the one thing I do not have – your own unique experience. Your own story. Your own parcel of things seen, and heard, and loved and lost, and you have experienced what it means to be human in a way that I have not. And from that place you will speak to me about that and teach me new things, show me new light that might just work on my particular darkness in a way my own light does not. You will show me new ideas and new beauty and new solutions to my problems. And, if this all works that way I believe it can, we’ll both become richer, deeper, and more human for it. I need you. We all do. – David duChemin

Backdoor to Heaven

Back Door To Heaven

“Be sure that the ins and outs of your individuality are no mystery to Him; and one day they will no longer be a mystery to you…God will look to every soul like its first love because He is its first love. Your place in heaven will seem to be made for you and you alone, because you were made for it–made for it stitch by stitch as a glove is made for a hand.” ― C.S. Lewis

Glory Revealed

This image was taken on a trip into Namibia, we drove through some fascinating landscapes, and one of them inspired me to create this scene…a moment of His presence and Glory. Today, look for the moments. The writing in the sky. The breeze upon your cheek. The flower pushing its way through concrete. Expect the unexpected. Let yourself be romanced by a sudden glory moment from God.

Rooted and Grounded in His Love

Embracing the privilege of creative expression is consistent with being made in the image and likeness of our creator. I love it when he gives me fresh revelation and renewed inspiration that tells me of his unrelenting love for me and it causes me to never ever give up!

Door Into Eternity

Doorway into Eternity

Creativity isn’t about doing it right or wrong. Impose all the constraints you want on yourself; that can help your creativity. But beware the voices from outside with their formulas, prescriptions, and rules. No one but you knows what you’re trying to do, or the path you’ve chosen to get there. Be open to the possibility that there are better ways, that the things we did yesterday may not serve us today. Be willing to learn, and to fall down. But as failure is so often our best teacher, don’t let anyone dissuade you from “doing it wrong.” Because it’s only in risking the possibility of getting it “wrong” that we draw close to getting it awesome. I’ve come to believe that most people equate different with wrong. Don’t let FODIW (fear of doing it wrong. I just made that up.) stop you from doing it differently, it’s the only thing that’ll keep you moving forward and keep us all from the homogeny that threatens to suffocate our creativity and joy.  – David duChemin

The Bateleur (Warrior Eagle)

The Bateleur (Warrior Eagle)

“Problems help us to become brilliant. We are warriors, we’re not afraid of anything! I don’t want an easy life. I want a brilliant one! I want an amazing one! I want an astonishing one! I want to see and I want to taste the powers of the age to come. I want to see Heaven on Earth! I don’t want some piddling Christian experience. I want something even better!” – Graham Cooke

Living Water

“Aliveness, is a gift available to all by God’s grace. It flows not from taking, but giving, not from fear but from faith, not from conflict but from reconciliation, not from domination but from service. It isn’t found in the upper trappings of religion -rules and rituals, controversies and scruples, temples and traditions. No, it springs up from our innermost being like a fountain of living water. It intoxicates us like the best wine ever and so turns life from disappointment into a banquet.” ― Brian D. McLaren

Coming Home

“When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen….There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly.” ~ Patrick Overton

“The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.” ― J.M. Barrie

Pilgrims Path

Pilgrims Path

“We are not here to be earthbound in our spirituality. We’re not here to have the world dictate to us how we can see and how we can think. God is setting us free to think from a place above, to set our mind on things above, not on things on the Earth, to actually be raised up so that we can actually connect with Him in spiritual places.” – Graham Cooke

A Golden Moment

Nothing compares to the warm promise of the sun who asks not for who it shines, it just shines. – Valerie Millett

The Magic of Africa

The fact of your birth, the same as every human on this planet, gives you permission to live, as much as possible, on your terms. To live out loud. To colour outside the lines. To know what you want to create, and how, and to do so with joy and purpose.  – David duChemin

Moonlight Reflections

“Each time a person passes by you and you say ‘hello’, imagine that person turning into a candle. The more positivity, love and light you reflect, the more light is mirrored your way. Sharing beautiful hellos is the quickest way to earn spiritual brownie points. You should start seeing hellos as small declarations of faith. Every time you say hello to a stranger, your heart acknowledges over and over again that we are all family.”
― Suzy Kassem

“If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.” ― Roopleen

The Heart

“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living, I want to know what you ache for, and if you dream of meeting your heart’s longing.” ~ Oriah

“The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity… and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.” ― William Blake

I’m pondering this truth again… The measure of a man is the measure of his love. I want to live in love, Love Divine not the fading kind. – Misty Edwards

Wild and Beautiful

“I am not interested in having the world revolve around me; that’s too boring of an idea. I would rather revolve around the world and try to leave my fingerprints, everywhere. My fingerprints mingled in with all the other fingerprints and all the laughter and all the beautiful things like gratitude, grace, faithfulness and flowers.” ― C. JoyBell C.

“We can’t be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don’t have something better.” ― C. JoyBell C.

“When you draw on God’s grace to put off your self-centered attitudes and act on His principles, you put His glory on display. Your life points to His vast wisdom, compassion, and transforming power, and as you look for God’s glory, the impact reaches far beyond yourself because you give everyone around you reason to respect and praise God. Glorifying God is not about letting others see how great you are. It’s about letting them see how great the Lord is.” ― Ken Sande

Change of Seasons

“With the change of the seasons, God reminds us that darkness always ends. Light always exists and will always return when missing. There is no night that doesn’t end. No nightmare from which you cannot awaken. No hurt that cannot heal.” ― Sharon Bayliss

“Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colors flowers, so does art color life.” ― John Lubbock

In Another World

“She was always daydreaming. She never wanted to live in the real world; she always seemed to be separated from other children her age. They couldn’t understand her or her imagination. She was always thinking outside of the box, breaking rules, and only following what her heart told her was right.” ― Shannon A. Thompson

Nature’s Tapestry

“Nature has been for me, for as long as I remember, a source of solace, inspiration, adventure, and delight; a home, a teacher, a companion.” ― Lorraine Anderson

The Triangle

“Love is made up of three unconditional properties in equal measure: 1. Acceptance 2. Understanding 3. Appreciation. Remove any one of the three and the triangle falls apart. Which, by the way, is something highly inadvisable. Think about it — do you really want to live in a world of only two dimensions? So, for the love of a triangle, please keep love whole.” ― Vera Nazarian

The Lotus Flower is one of the earliest and most spiritually meaningful symbols ever. The blossoming Lotus Flower ascends above the murky water to unveil its glorious petals. Late in the evening the petals close and withdraw beneath the surface, then at daybreak, the flower again lifts up to the sky and unfolds its majestic crown. This flower represents the virtue of the soul, purity of the heart, and an intellect firmly established on divine ideals. The ideals of prosperity, character, well-being, and longevity are often symbolized by the Lotus Flower.

In the beginning we were there, for God possessed us even before he created the universe. From eternity past we were set in place, before the world began. We were anointed from the beginning. Before the oceans depths were poured out, and before there were any glorious fountains overflowing with water, we were there, dancing! Even before one mountain had been sculpted or one hill raised up, we were already there, dancing! When he created the earth, the fields, even the first atom of dust, we were already there. When he hung the tapestry of the heavens and stretched out the horizon of the earth, When the clouds and skies were set in place and the subterranean fountains began to flow strong, we were already there. When he set in place the pillars of the earth and spoke the decrees of the seas, commanding the waves so that they wouldn’t overstep their boundaries, we were there, close to the Creator’s side as his master artists. Daily he was filled with delight in us as we playfully rejoiced before him. We laughed and played, so happy with what he had made, while finding our delight in the children of men.

Faith Like Feathers (testimony)

“Our capacity to remember what God has said and done in our lives and throughout history— the testimony— is one of the primary things that determine our success or failure in sustaining a Kingdom lifestyle of power for miracles.”  –  Bill Johnson

The reason why I write these posts is not so that I can talk about myself…but to glorify His name in all of this that I experienced. I am by nature a shy person and I would dare to say a bit of a “Mystic” always desiring to seek His presence in all circumstances. So, what is a Christian Mystic? A person concerned not with knowing the letter of the Word, or religious dogmas, but with knowing the Spirit of the Word, which is to say living from within the experience of God’s word at the very core of being. A mystic, quite simply, is a lover of God who pursues the beloved from a deep realization that life as a Christian is evolving as the soul moves toward its fullness and destiny in relationship to God. My hope is that what I have written down here, may help people to recoqnise what they might have encountered with this awesome God we serve but never dared talk about.

Living the over coming life is not for the faint hearted nor is it for the one who looks back and regrets the mistakes they have made. A friend of mine once said to me are you an overcomer or an undertaker, I thought about that and realised that I definitely had buried a few things in my life that I needed to dig up and revive. (Dry Bones – Ezekiel 37: 4) They were God ordained things, things that I was given but did not know how to handle correctly because of Spiritual immaturity, opportunities that presented themselves and I blew them because of pride and lack of wisdom. I had buried these things because I gave up on them and saw myself as a failure not measuring up to “peoples” expectations. I have learned that we cannot overcome by the strength of our flesh, it is only by life in the spirit when we have died with Christ and been resurrected with Him to live a Godly life, a creative life filled with His resurrection power that constantly revives us and inspires us to take our mountains instead of going around them again and again… our trying to have victory according to the law will only bring frustration. Rather than trying to kill the flesh by the flesh, we walk by faith that it is Christ in us who empowers us to overcome. Yield to the work of My Spirit says the Lord…and you will overcome! My mistakes have become my stepping stones to a higher experience in Him, where there are no boundaries or limits to what we can accomplish.

Many years ago I was given a dream or it could have been a vision (I’m not sure what it was), it was so clear and vivid that it has always stuck with me up till today. In the dream I saw myself climbing up huge stone stairs very much like the stairs of a Roman colleseum When I reached the top of the stairs there were three beings standing there, two males and one female. The female was standing in between the two males, she was much older than the males. Her hair was long and grey and she emanated an air of wisdom, the males were young and strong with beautiful long hair. As I reached the top of the stairs one of the male beings reached down to me and handed me a stone. Not having completely reached the top yet, I reached up and took it from him. I looked at the stone, it was very light in colour, almost white and there was something inscribed on it but I could not understand it. I asked the young male what it meant and then he said to me “you will know in time”. That was the end of the dream/vision, it never left me . It was only a few years ago that I became aware of a scripture in God’s Word, Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.” This scripture literally jumped off the paper when I first became aware of it and reminded me immediately of the dream/vision I had back in the seventies, when I lived and worked in Los Angeles as a Freelance photographer. There have been many things over the years since I had that dream, that I was called to overcome. Only through caring for my heart did I learn to hear His voice and did I start having some major victories in areas that seemed so blocked and bound up. Our hearts are the dwelling place of God. Caring for our hearts is how we protect our relationship with God, it is how we commune with Him. It is where we hear His voice. Caring for your own heart isn’t selfishness, it is how we truly begin to love. What will you bring to others if your own heart is dry and empty and trampled on? There is so much wisdom behind Jesus’ urging us to love others as “we love ourselves” (Mark 12:31) I see so many people struggle with this, they would rather practice the Christianity of principles and as a result never hear God’s voice. The Journey is painful… but as we purify our heart by taking care of it and not allowing unforgiveness or anger to lodge in it, not allowing it to be defiled through wrong influence, there will be more room for Him to occupy and lead us into higher dimensions.

Is there such a thing as a true born again experience? I know there is…it is a true awakening where old things fall away and the new takes its place in our lives. (2 Corinthians 5:17 ) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person, the old has gone and new life has begun. Do you belong to Christ? (the Light of the world) and how would you know? Is your life any different from what it used to be, is there a renewal in your thinking? The word of God says that only the Father can draw us to Jesus Christ. Any efforts made by man through manipulation or control will not do it, it won’t last. Only through our own hunger and desire for a higher existence and even then it is because we had a taste and glimpse of that realm, will we pursue that intimacy required of us. Those moments when we cry out to God in total surrender and His love envelopes us and surges through us, that is when our hearts expand and we become willing and pliable in His hands. Many people have seen His Glory and experienced His goodness, only to be enticed again by the world and its principalities and powers of darkness. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6: 24-34 that we have to make a choice, no one can serve two masters. The idol of this world cannot coexist with the God of the bible. That’s pretty clear isn’t it…we want to throw it all together and expect a happy outcome, then we wonder why we are full of anxiety and have no peace in our lives. Something has got to give, obedience is better then sacrifice. Be anxious over nothing Jesus says, when you abide in Me, My peace I will leave with you. Wow! how much more simple can it get. He says stay and have relationship with Me, give me some of your time in surrender to Me and I will indwell in you, give you My peace beyond all understanding. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and I will give you everything you need! ( Matthew 6:33)

The Little Red Bible, The Blood and The Fire.

I am going back now to the very beginning of my story where my heart was being prepared for this very strategically designed plan of God for my life. I was living in Los Angeles at the time and received a phone call from my family letting me know that they bought me a ticket to come to South Africa. It was early November and they asked me to come for a Christmas holiday.
I excepted with a grateful heart not at all realising what lay ahead of me, most probably a good thing because if I would have known I wouldn’t have gone.
It was there that I received Christ in faith, was baptised in water by a Pentecostal couple who were very much from the old school of ministry which I found to be really scary and knew little about. She prayed over me in a language I did not know, asked me to open up my little red bible which I had miraculously found in a bookstore just about a week before that and proceeded to randomly turn the pages to three different places and blood fell on three different scriptures,  Ephesians 2:13  But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.  Is it important that I let you know what those scriptures were? I think so because they so applied to me and the life I lived. Here they are… Romans 3 : 10-18 , Romans 4 : 7-8 and Philippians 2 : 7-11. These scriptures told me everything about where I was at, how God saw me and where He was taking me. To go back in time a bit, the little red bible was a small miracle He wanted to impress me with and the thought of having a big black bible did not appeal to me at all, that was way to austere for me. So I said, I will get a bible but it has to be a small red bible. It is amazing how He cares about every small detail of our life. So off I went looking for a small red bible. Now you have to know that little red bibles were nowhere to be seen or found in those days, black and brown was it. The first bookshop I walked into had a Christian book section in the back of the store, walking towards it I noticed the shelf with the bibles on it, I expected to see the little red bible – and there it was, in the middle of all the black and brown bibles… it was alive and illuminated! Believe me, that is how I saw it. On returning to Los Angeles everything was different and I saw with different eyes, I saw it all for what it was and felt no attachment to it. The next thing that happened was, what I later learned is called the Baptism of Fire. One late afternoon I was sitting on my bed contemplating and thinking about the things of God when I suddenly had this urge to ask God to fill me with His spirit and saturate me with His love. What was to come I was not prepared for and it totally took me by surprise… there was an energy that started to take a hold of me, a warmth that gradually turned into heat and became hotter and hotter as if I was set on fire from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I did not know where this was going to go so I dropped side ways on the bed and let it take its course, wave after wave of heat surging through me so intense I could hardly stand it. In Matthew 3 : 11 it says “I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me will come one that is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with fire”. How long this went on for I don’t know, it seemed like hours until finally this power started to subside. I fell asleep and when I woke up in the morning I felt as though I had been turbo charged and had to go out for a run. From that point on my life took a drastic turn in a new direction.

My journey into the heart of God.

I am not a theologian, I have read the bible once from cover to cover which was a huge task for me. Then I started searching the Word and found many answers to many questions I had. “ And you will seek Me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart .” This was not the only way I encountered Him, I encountered Him again when I listened to a strong unction I had to follow His leading into the desert. A beautiful place, it was like Heaven to me…like stepping into another realm and coming home, a place of healing and rest. I left the world as I knew it behind me and took another leap in faith. I say “another” because my whole life seems to have been about stepping in to unknown territory. This place was different from any other place I had ever been to, maybe because of the awareness of His awesome presence being with me and around me every minute of the day and night. I realise now, looking back, what an incredible gift that was and how it changed my way of seeing and perceiving life around me. For those of you who know and have experienced the journey into the wilderness, this should not be unfamiliar to you. For those who have yet to meet Him, I say surrender all, let go of everything you’re holding on to because there are no limits in Him. There is a creek I use to go to in that beautiful high desert place. After a brief hike through and across the creek, which was not easy to get through because of rushing water and river stones, I found a huge flat rock (red in colour) so inviting that I could not resist lying down on it. The silence besides the sound of the running creek and birds chirping and singing was other worldly, I remember it so clearly…the kind of silence that causes you to loose track of time and space and invites you into the moment without fear or anxiety. Is that not what we all long for? To be in that place of complete surrender (centredness, oneness, call it what you are comfortable with) knowing that we are safe there. It was in those moments that anything supernatural could have happened, like an Angel appearing before me or the heavens opening up and God Himself speaking to me with a thundering voice, which would have been incredibly intimidating or scary, but no, not with me…He knew what I could handle, He knows me better then anyone else and He knew just what I needed! Instead He opened up that rock for me – yes the flat rock that I was lying on. I literally sank into it like a warm embrace enveloping me taking away every last drop of emotional hurt, fear and insecurity and filling me with joy, happiness and peace. The Lord is my Rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. ( Psalm 18 : 2 ) He is so awesome! This is how I know Him, and this is how He wants you to know Him, not like some dead idol that needs to be revived through boring repetitious sermons and religious songs. You are being robbed if that is the extent of your knowing about God. A religious fog has gotten a hold of you and blinded you from seeing the real Jesus. Jesus the God of the supernatural (He walked on water remember?) Let go of all your preconceived ideas, your traditional values and unrealistic expectations, His Kingdom is an upside down Kingdom where you die to live, go lower to get higher and you give to receive. Don’t get me wrong…I haven’t totally gotten there myself yet, but I am well on my way!

On Earth as it is in Heaven.

The Kingdom of God is not in word but in power, it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. If God created everything, heaven and earth, then He is all powerful isn’t He? May your Kingdom come and your Will be done on earth, as it is in heaven, we the body of Christ will be bringing down heaven to earth by faith, only when we follow in His likeness. God’s Kingdom resides within us here on this earth, it is not some far away place that we hope to go to when we behave a certain way or are good enough. Jesus instructed us to pray the Lord’s prayer so that God’s name would be Glorified and His Kingdom established within us. How many of us today can live in that realm and consistent atmosphere of Miracles, Signs and Wonders? How many of us are that faithful and are walking in that kind of single mindedness. The world’s ways are designed to bring down our faith in God. To keep our eyes on the Kingdom and Kingdom economy takes believing and knowing Him intimately and experientially. Intimacy is a wonderful discipline to learn in the realm of the Spirit, when we learn to access this realm and live in it, everything starts making sense, it all seems to fall in to place for us and everything that comes against us just drives us deeper into God. Oh! to live in His presence…remembering what He has done for us in the past and bringing that into our present situation, believing without a doubt that He will do it for us again. Jesus Christ, when on earth, lived in that realm because He spoke out of the deep and divine abundance of His heart. He spoke of the things He knew about, the things He had seen and experienced in Heaven and we the body of Christ are called to follow in His footsteps. Being satisfied with accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts are our beginning baby steps and that is good, but we were never meant to stay there. Extraordinary living is required here, a life that is exceptional, amazing, unimaginable, well and abundant. Do we fully understand what this Kingdom of Heaven is all about, and what takes place there? God uses our faith to bring things into existence, should it be healing in our bodies, our need for finances, the fulfilment of a vision and promise we were given long ago. Jesus said “don’t be afraid only believe”. In the word of God it says that we cannot please Him without faith. On earth and in our flesh we are limited by the laws of nature, never the less God is in control of all things. Our adversary has rulership of this physical world for now. Children have no problem accepting the supernatural, they remember. Looking back I remember as a little girl, my mom tucking me into bed in the evening and I would tell her there were birds flying all around us in my room. She would look at me and say go to sleep now and stop your nonsense. Wouldn’t it have been amazing if she would have been able to respond to that in an open minded and inquisitive way, like “what kind of birds”? tell me about it. Things would have been different, we would have grown up being secure in the fact that it is ok to have visions and that there are other realms we can tap into. We could have grown in that and not been taught to believe that it was something weird.

If you are standing in expectation of His Kingdom coming here on earth as it is in Heaven and not waiting and hoping that we will go to Heaven one day through our own efforts and good behaviour, you are heading in the right direction.

Faith love Grace

Tel me this one thing, did you receive Gods Spirit by doing what the law requires or because you hear the Gospel and believe it! ( Galatians 3:2 )
God puts us right with Him, by the power of Gods Spirit working through our faith. So what really matters is faith that works through love.
It is the Grace of God that saves through faith. This is not our own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

A word I received :

you are delightful

like sunrise and the stars at night fall

you light up a room

with your love sense

and whisk through moments

of heavy as if they were fistfuls

of dust that need to give way

to the powerful fist of the

One Who has the last say

Here are some excerpts out of books that have empowered me and always just appear in the right timing on my journey with Jesus.

The word of God clearly tells us that it is God’s purpose that we experience days of heaven on earth. Many now are entering into a supernatural walk with the Lord like never before. While a large portion of the church is basically hanging on and waiting to get to heaven when they die, there is an ever increasing number of Christians who are beginning to enter into a supernatural walk with Jesus. The number of Christians that are being supernaturally transported to different parts of the world to pray for people or encourage people often healing people is increasing daily. Many more are being taken to heaven in order to be taught by the Lord or by angels, this is all biblical. The Apostle John was one of those in the bible who was taken to heaven to be taught and given understanding of these End-Times. Enoch became so at home in the heavenly realm that God finally took him there permanently. These are days where heaven is merging with the earth. There are many who have been experiencing this for a number of years who are now beginning to come out and share these experiences. Everything in the word of God is available to us today and a great number of Christians now are beginning to walk with God like many old saints of God did. It is time to move on and go higher in the realms of God.

Our Greatest Challenge

If it is true that the promises of restored cities and healed nations are actually millennium promises… and if the promise of God’s glory being manifest all over the earth is far off into the future…and if in fact the people of God will not reach a place of true maturity, living like one mature man- then I must ask the question- is there anyone hungry anough for what He has shown us in the Scriptures that we will pull into our day something that is reserved for another? Is there anyone willing to lay themselves down to bring more of God’s promises across another great divide? If you can see God’s coming future promises, and He hasn’t blinded your eyes to His intent, then He is hoping to hook you into the role of calling “into being that which does not exist.” It is the role of the desperate heart of faith. We have the opportunity to affect the direction and flow of history through our prayers and intercessions. This is where we take hold of the future. This is why He wants to show us, “things to come.”The future is now, and it belongs to us. It’s a new day…dreamers, Let’s Gather  –    (The Physics of Heaven    By  Judy Franklin & Ellyn Davis)

Without supernatural power, Christianity is reduced to a set of laws and a list of principles. But God is not contained by human philosophies and externalized religion. He is the creator of the universe and the lover of our souls. Every human being on the planet has been designed to have a relationship with Him. We, therefore, do not need to be embarrassed  about the gospel. We can confidently and openly share God’s love, and His powerful dealings with human beings, with any person we meet.  ( “Wired”  by  Dr.Dionne van Zyl )

This lifestyle of His Kingdom manifested is one of conscious awareness of His Presence and it is unique, indeed. It is an incredible combination of brokenness and power; weakness and resolve; doubt and confidence; fear and assurance. His Presence reflects absolute dependence on Him and absolute certainty of His Life pulsing through the believers veins. It is exhilarating and frightful; natural and very much supernatural.  –  Don Nori

You have seen what you don’t want. You have seen the work of the enemy against you. You have seen the works of men. You have had plenty of chaos and trouble that tried to destroy the tenderness of your heart towards God. You know what it is like to experience the meanness that protects religious and legalistic attitudes. Don’t go down that path again.

Find the path of love, of peace, of righteous living. Find the way of the Holy Spirit and never deviate from it again. Set your face like flint to seek God, no matter the cost or distraction. This is a year when you can reinvent yourself. What you simplified and fortified in the last season will become your dwelling place in the next season.

Spirit to Spirit

This divine bond is an intimate Spirit-to-spirit connection, a fire to fire—a union that goes beyond that of a man and woman in marriage. It is a bonding in which the Spirit of God says, “You are in Me, and I am in You. Let Me breathe through you. Let Me use you. Let Me flow through you to others. You are flesh of My flesh and bone of My bone.”

Carriers of Hope

“We never know when our last day on earth will be. So, love with full sincerity, believe with true faith, and hope with all of your might. Better to have lived in truth and discovered life, than to have lived half heartedly and died long before you ever ceased breathing. ” ― Cristina Marrero

Our task must be to free ourselves… by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty. ~ Albert Einstein

Changing Hearts

Prayer changes hearts, but it never changes God. God is the same today and forever; He is always full of love, full of entreaty, and full of helpfulness. If you always come into the presence of God, you can have what you come for. You can take it away and use it at your disposal. And there is nothing you can find in the scriptures where God ever charges you for what you have done with what He has given you. God scolds no man, but you can come and come again, and God is willing to give if you believe. – Smith Wigglesworth –

God’s Rest

“Rest and peace are never passive. They are active learning. I like to be active in my peace. I like to think peacefully. I like to feel peaceful, so I am rejecting things that make me feel anxious or worried.” – Graham Cooke

“The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls too” ― Vincent Van Gogh

When you forgive somebody, when you are generous, when you withhold judgment, when you love and when you stand up to injustice, you are, in that moment, bringing heaven to earth….

Serene Rhythm

When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused. – Rainer Maria Rilke

Harvest Moon on Wilderness Beach

You may not be a Picasso or Mozart but you don’t have to be. Just create to create. Create to remind yourself you’re still alive. Make stuff to inspire others to make something too. Create to learn a bit more about yourself.” ~Frederick Terral

Dancing Flamingos

When I first heard about the Flamingos coming to Wilderness beach, I was very surprised, never heard of Flamingos coming to the beach. They usually like to hang out in swamps and marshes looking for food. They are social birds that live in flocks, sometimes numbering thousands. This particular flock was not larger then maybe one hundred and fifty birds. Flamingos also have been known to symbolize beauty, balance and grace. They teach you the importance of balance in your emotions, are you leaning too far in one direction? Interesting how they balance so beautifully on one leg when they are resting. The Flamingo is flamboyant and vibrant and offers joy and love, teaching us not to be afraid to show our emotions. So when the Flamingos make their appearance….one wonders! I felt so drawn to go and photograph them, not a soul on the beach except for some gliders flying overhead. Slowly and carefully I walked up to them with out creating too much unrest, they did not seem to mind too much but became disturbed by the gliders. A hundred meters was about the space between us and I sat down to observe them and take some photo’s. The ocean, the Flamingos and myself…it was special and felt like a divine appointment, just another way God speaks to us…

“Half of me is filled with bursting words and half of me is painfully shy. I crave solitude yet also crave people. I want to pour life and love into everything yet also nurture my self-care and go gently. I want to live within the rush of primal, intuitive decision, yet also wish to sit and contemplate. This is the messiness of life – that we all carry multitudes, so we must sit with the shifts. We are complicated creatures, and ultimately, the balance comes from this understanding. Be water. Flowing, flexible and soft. Subtly powerful and open. Wild and serene. Able to accept all changes, yet still led by the pull of steady tides. It is enough.” ― Victoria Erickson

The Gift

“Being out there by the ocean, God’s creation, it’s like a gift He has given us to enjoy.

Only Believe

“I think one of the biggest reasons people have difficulty believing in God is because they don’t understand Him. You often hear doubting comments like, ‘If there is a God then why this and why that and how could He allow…?’ Perhaps if people were to invest true, sincere effort getting to know Him they’d discover a mindful Father molding his children for a higher purpose. Because, like it or not, believe it or not, agree with Him or not, He is God.” ― Richelle E. Goodrich

“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.” Robert Fulghum

Beautiful Surrender

To be seated in heavenly places with Jesus means entering into His rest and giving up control of everything we do not have control over…then, by constantly using our faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside us, and the resting place of God’s love will become the very source and root of our lives.  Sweet beautiful surrender…that’s where I want to be, nothing is worth holding on to if it isn’t part of His plan and purpose for our lives. Our displacement pushes us into our purpose.  I will never fit because I am not at home, not yet.  So, today again I surrender with a contrite heart and a longing soul for all things good…

The ultimate solution and answer that the process of awakening leads to anyway, is to save yourself years of suffering by surrendering to the Truth right now and let Him take over your life. Everything falls into place in the moment of surrender, and, that’s when freedom and peace comes and takes over your whole being.

Photographing young people is by far the most exhilarating thing to do, they have little inhibition and lots of spontaneity.  Surrendering is not an issue with them, it comes naturally, and all I have to do is be “present” and capture those moments.

Surrendering, relinquishing control, letting go, letting God, doesn’t have very positive connotations in our society today.  It doesen’t mean “be irresponsible” but it does mean handing your life over to God and trusting Him for the outcome after you have done what He has placed on your heart to do.  It then takes more strength than one can even imagine, surrendering to exactly where we are and knowing that everything is totally the way He intended it to be.  Carrying worry, ingratitude, or fear around with us is such a horrible weight to carry, and gravity is a pull that causes us to stay where we started,  we need to break that law…

You know you’re surrendered to God when you rely on God to work things out instead of trying to manipulate others, force your agenda, and control the situation.  You let go and let God work.  You don’t have to always be in charge.  Instead of trying harder, you trust more.

Walking with God is not about information or any kind of activity, it’s about living in the presence of the One that made you His dwelling place.  Our spiritual wellbeing depends upon rightly prioritised relationships.  God wants us all to grow up into the fulllness of Christ.

When we surrender we enter into the realm of the miraculous, that is when God can truly move in our lives.

Surrendering our lives to God, is like entering His Kingdom here on earth.  We become people with a vision of the future.  Vision is the lens that interprets the events of our life, the way we view people and our concept of God.

Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Psalm 37:7
